Smokepocalypse: smoky grey and orange with a red sun is the “new normal” in much of North America. How long can you hold your breath?

“More than 115 million people may be exposed to dangerous smoke and unhealthy air quality levels” (PBS). Continent covering firestorm smoke canopies are being utilized as a form of geoengineering / solar radiation management. Are the weather makers willing to incinerate huge swaths of Earth’s remaining forests in order to temporarily cool vast regions with migrating expanses of highly toxic smoke? What will it take before more wake up, look up, and connect the climate engineering dots?
